As you may know, NAHU has recently produced a mini-documentary on the disadvantages of single-payer insurance to help offset the misinformation spread by Michael Moore's "SICKO." We have repurposed that show for distribution to broadcast stations nationwide. Every broadcast affiliate of the major networks throughout the country will know about the story through a satellite feed that occurred today. The stations were provided with segments from the Beth Ashmore interview, along with suggested key points to make when producing their on-air story.
"Truth or Consequences – the Beth Ashmore Chronicle" demonstrates, through the personal experiences of Beth Ashmore and her mother, why the purported advantages of a single-payer health care system are really myths. The video offers real-world evidence of the inadequacies of the single-payer concept versus the quality and expediency of our current private market health care system.
