Thank you to everyone for your continued support of GCNYAHU!  The 2009-2010 membership meetings were a huge success, which was made possible by everyone, NAHU members and non but future NAHU members.  GCNYAHU will take the summer off from the membership meetings, a much needed and well deserved vacation, and will kick off the 2010-2011 membership meetings in September.   Check the events page of our website for more information.

2010-2011 Strategic Planning Meeting

This strategic planning meeting is open to all GCNYAHU members.  Topics of discussion include:

• Where GCNYAHU is as a chapter
• Where do we want to be in the next 12 months
• How do we increase chapter membership
• How do we make our voices heard
• What meeting topics should we offer in the coming year
• What education classes/opportunity should we offer in the coming year

Special guest Charlie Gartlan, NAHU Region 1 Chapter Relations Chair will be in attendance to assist GCNYAHU and offer guidance

Thank you to everyone who attended the CDHC class. Overwhelmingly we heard it was one of the best CE classes I have participated in.  Mr. Torella proved to be an engaging and well versed speaker on the topic, and the course material made the time go by very quickly.  Some great tools, slides, and approaches (basic and advanced) came out of the presentation and discussions that I know we'll all use for years to come.
